About Rewired Desire
Why Rewired Desire exists
Rewired Desire exists to help people move from shame and confusion toward understanding, responsibility, intentionality and meaningful change.
Our mission
Shame has had its turn. It doesn't work.
Most approaches to porn addiction run on shame: you are weak, you are broken, try harder. Shame does not rewire anything, it just makes people hide. Rewired Desire treats the problem as what it is, a trained habit loop, and gives people a practical, day-by-day method to untrain it.
Our approach
Behaviour, not morality. Honesty, not hype.
- Behaviour-based. We work with triggers, urges, routines and replacements, not guilt.
- Honest. No cures, no overnight claims, no fake science. If something won't help you, we say so.
- Supported. Nobody should argue with the old story alone. That is why mentorship exists.

The vision
A life where this struggle isn't secret
We believe freedom from compulsive behaviour is possible for ordinary people, and that it happens through understanding, practice and honest support, not through hiding. Our vision is a world where men and women who struggle with this can reach for a method and a human instead of a shame spiral.
The founder
Apostle John Chidiebube Joseph
Rewired Desire was born from a deep conviction that people should not have to remain trapped in destructive patterns simply because they have struggled with them before.
Apostle John Chidiebube Joseph is a writer, educator, mentor and ministry leader with a passion for helping people understand their potential, develop healthy patterns and pursue meaningful transformation.
His work brings together practical learning, personal responsibility, intentional growth and compassionate support.
Through Rewired Desire, he developed a framework designed to help people move beyond shame and simply trying to “stop” a behaviour. The approach focuses on understanding the pattern, identifying triggers, interrupting destructive cycles, building healthier responses and creating a life that makes freedom sustainable.
“I believe people are more than the patterns they have struggled with. Transformation begins when we stop hiding from the pattern, understand it honestly, and begin building something healthier in its place.”
Rewired Desire is not presented as a promise of an overnight cure. It is an invitation to learn, practice, take responsibility and keep moving forward.
The journey begins with one decision:
Break the loop. Rebuild the life. Live free.
